Ancient Orpheus in Amber
Here is an "amberised" version of the preceding drawing. I did this digitally, of course, as it's non-destructive as opposed to staining & artificially aging the orginal drawing...I like the appearance of the passage of centuries on the surface of the drawing...it gives a greater sense of depth & history...
