 Leonardo.Ai did a rather good job of creating these epic images of the Tower of Babel in flames. As you may know, I've depicted the tower in many pieces, but these came out very cinematically, and, as I mentioned, epic.

Here's a new drawing, done this morning. I was thinking of doing a fairly simple piece, but it got out of hand...

Enigma Factory

New small painting:

Enigma Factory, 2009, acrylic on board, 10" x 8".

Done in a deliberately very simple "surrealist" style, to evoke those almost naive early surrealist landscapes of the 1930s (early Dali, Magritte, Ernst, etc., and let's not forget de Chirico's even earlier metaphysical paintings) I find this piece oddly effective right now (in the sense of generating a sense of mystery, enigma), though time will tell.
