Spanish UDHR Painting of Article 4

Here's Article 4 of the Spanish UDHR series (see entry below for details):


Acrylic on paper, 25" x 20" approx., 1992.

"No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms."

Eventually, all the Spanish paintings will be uploaded to the UDHR Art dot org site.

UDHR Drawings

I'm gradually shooting medium-res photos of the original UDHR studies in pencil & ink, created in 1990. They've never really been seen widely before, & I believe that the last time that they were exhibited publicly was in Spain in 1992. Some of them have been published once or twice, in the Earth Times back in 1993, & in a poetry journal called Tripwire in 1998 or so. I'm uploading the images to the new UDHRart.org site to go alongside the paintings. Here's Article 8:
