Kiki and the 3 Little Souls
This is the latest image in the Book of Souls, the collaboration between myself and Chicago-based artist Tim Lowly. The original artwork is by myself, with photography, layout & digital manipulation by Tim.

You can see the series of works in its current state of completion here. The Book of Souls is not an actual book as such, rather a series of "page spreads" that have been digitally created.

Three Figures
This is just a simple sketch that I quite liked. I don't know what the narrative is, but it looks interesting.

Young John the Baptist
This is another smallish drawing that I did today that might be included in the Heaven and Hell series...I'm still deciding...

The Oracle at Delphi
This is a new drawing for the Journey to Somewhere series I'm working on with Barry Farmer. It started as a pencil drawing, but when I scanned it, the subtle shades of pencil tone tended to disappear, so I darkened it with brush & ink. I think the process was worthwhile...

This is a new quite large ink drawing for the Heaven and Hell series, which now numbers around 90 images (out of a projected 100).

At the Temple of Isis
This is a new ink drawing for my collaboration over on Flickr with Barry Farmer, "Journey to Somewhere", which seems to be an imaginative & selective journey through the history of the world's civilizations. This piece started out as a figure drawing with no specific context & then became a fictional Egyptian scene.

Overdrawn
I feel that I overdid this one, possibly. Also, the face doesn't quite balance out. Need to think about this one.

Profile of the Changeling

Standing Figure drawing
I was originally intending this figure drawing to be somehow related to the Heaven and Hell series. However, after drawing it, I didn't really see how it would fit in. Still, I think the drawing is pretty good.

Face of God
This is a painting I've been working on for some time now, for the Heaven and Hell series. It's been through several different stages (see posts below for a couple of them). It may be finished now, but possibly not.

How the World Was Won
Here is another new work for the Heaven and Hell series. It may be more of a finished sketch than a drawing, and I may develop the themes in this one a little more.

Head with Eyes Closed and Stormy Sky
I tend to do a lot of drawings of invented heads. Here is a new one with closed eyes, which is kind of a mini-theme in my work.
