The Doge / Scan vs. photo
I had this drawing (that I had already photographed) scanned at a place in Kingston NY (Catskill Art & Office Supplies), as it was too large for my standard desktop scanner (made by Lexmark). It's interesting to see the difference—the scan is obviously cleaner (no glare or shadows), more accurate (no distortion from cropping & straightening, or from camera angle), but the photo is actually surprisingly decent...
