Very Small Paintings
Here are a couple of very small acrylic monochrome paintings I did the other day on sample pieces of claybord (TM) that my wife picked up a while ago at an open day event at The New School in NYC. I don't usually make artworks this small, so it was a challenge to work at this scale, but it worked out pretty well. The main problem was to get a decent photo of them. The one on the left is "Tiny World Madonna" & is 4.75" tall by 2.75" wide. The other one, "Babel with 3 Small Figures" is a little bit larger at 5" x 3".

Morphing Heads
This is another animated GIF experiment done with Squirlz Morph, a freeware morphing program. I used two recent small paintings of heads, the Boy with a Long Neck, & the Madonna of the Western Lands, to create this strangely fascinating & disturbing image of the male & female images morphing into each other. I originally made this for my Tumblr blog (mymythsandmonsters.tumblr.com), but I thought I would also post it here.

Madonna of the Wasteland
Another new acrylic painting for the apocalyptic series...it took quite a while to do, & was painted over older images, which sometimes helps give depth to a painting.
Madonna of the Wasteland, 2012, acrylic on board, 20" x 16".
