A drawing inspired by a few lines from Shakespeare's Tempest:
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade...
Full Fathom Five, 2010, brush & ink on paper, 11" x 8.5".

Mirages of the Future at the Dorsky Museum
My painting from 2009, "Mirages of the Future" will be on show tonight for the start of this year's Art Along the Hudson series of events. The Samuel Dorsky Museum in New Paltz, NY, is part of the SUNY (State University of New York) campus.
Mirages of the Future, 2009, acrylic on board, 14" x 11".
Since I took that photo, I signed it in the lower left. It's from a series of "surrealist" paintings (reminiscent of the 1930s surrealist style) that I did last year.

Imaginary Landscape
I always liked those old drawings by Leonardo, Breughel et al with fantastic & impossible rocky mountain shapes. Here's one of mine:

Study of a Weathered Head 2
I wasn't compeletely satisfied (never am, but that's another story) with yesterday's ink drawing of an old/young man's head...so this morning I've redrawn it from scratch...although this could easily be seen as a totally new drawing on the same subject...
