War Unending
Since it's around 10 years since I created The War Room (4-wall painted installation), I thought it would be appropriate to revisit the anti-war theme, especially as things don't seem to be necessarily getting any better, globally speaking...
War Unending, 2014, acrylic on cardboard, 4' x 9' (painted on 3 panels, each 4' high by 3' wide).

The Damage of War
Here is a new anti-war drawing for an online exhibit at antiwarartists.com. I have been busy with mostly non-art matters in the last few weeks, though I did completely reorganize my studio for an event/party we had recently. More work should be appearing here soon...
The Damage of War, 2012, brush & ink on paper, 11" x 8.5".

And the World Gave Birth to War
A new monochrome painting, this one done over a color painting that didn't work out...however, it bleeds through in places, and that works in the context of the piece. For the World series, it also fits in with the War Room anti-war pieces.
And the World Gave Birth to War, 2011, acrylic on plywood, 48" x 48" approx.

"WAR", oil on unstretched canvas, 36" x 48" (2 panels), 2003
Many thanks to antiwarartists.com, who have just created a gallery for me on their very intersting site. It's a very nice selection of my anti-war & political pieces & always interesting to see my work in a different configuration & context. Be sure to check them out, they have a number of interesting artworks & artists on there...
